Caring For The Caregiver: Recognizing, Preventing, and Managing Burnout
Caring For The Caregiver: Recognizing, Preventing, and Managing Burnout
Caregivers devote immense time, energy, and compassion to supporting others, often at the expense of their own well-being. This interactive workshop explores the signs and causes of caregiver stress/burnout and helps participants recognize when their own needs require attention. Through practical strategies, self-reflection, and evidence-based tools, attendees will learn how to build resilience, establish healthy boundaries, prioritize self-care, and maintain emotional balance while continuing to provide quality care. Whether caring for family members, clients/patients, or community members, participants will leave with actionable techniques to support their own health and sustain their caregiving role over the long term.
