Participants will learn to recognize and manage what gets in the way of sticking to healthy habits including being more mindful about choices, developing self-compassion, and how to live a life that reflects what truly matters. Participants will learn new ways to live a healthier life, even if you don't really want to.

About the Speaker:

Dr. Luke Schneider is a Registered Clinical Psychologist who completed his M.A. and Ph.D. at the University of Regina. He completed his predoctoral residency with Nova Scotia Health and also completed a two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Anxiety Treatment and Research Clinic at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton. Dr. Schneider has experience in the assessment and treatment of mental health disorders including healthy anxiety, depression, and posttraumatic stress disorder. Additionally, Dr. Schneider has specialized experience in the psychological treatment of health-related conditions such as chronic pain, COPD, cancer, and kidney failure. Dr. Schneider is very excited to share his psychological knowledge in the upcoming Healthy Habits Suck course.
